Bu iddiada “1” tane farkın sanki hiç bir şey ifade etmediğini ima edilir. Oysa buradaki fark zaten sahip olunan şeylerin farkı değil bir şeye sahip olmak ve olmamanın farkıdır. Bir şeyin varlığı ile yokluğu arasındaki fark, varlıklar arasındaki fark ile kıyaslanamaz. Fark her ne kadar “1” gibi dursa da arada bir uçurum var. Örneğin bu iddia, annesi ölmüş birinin yanına gidip “üzülme aslında benim ile senin aranda pek bir fark yok benim senden sadece 1 tane fazla annem var” demek kadar saçmadır. Oysa hayatımızda bir anne olması ve olmaması arasında muhteşem bir fark var.
Veya çocuğu olmayan bir çiftin yanına gidip “üzülmeyin aynı sayılırız, bizim sizden sadece 1 tane fazla çocuğumuz var” demek ne kadar mantıklı? Çocuk hasretiyle tutuşan o karı koca herhalde bu söz karşısında sinir krizleri geçirirdi.
Ayrıca burdaki bir diğer hata da bütün dinleri aynı seviyede görmekten kaynaklanıyor. Oysa dinler arasında aklen ve mantıken de büyük farklar var.
Örneğin her ne kadar ikisi din olarak anılsa da, Prens Philip Mountbatten’i tanrı kabul eden Yaohnanen inancını, İslam ile bir tutmak saçmalık olur. Örnegin; belirli gözlemler ve akıl yürütmeler sonucunda bilim evrenin sonu olduğuna dair farklı teoriler sunmuştur. Pek tam bu noktada biri çıkıp da “hayır, spagetti canavarı evreni yiyecek ve evrenin sonu gelecek” dediğinde bunu bilimsel teoriler ile aynı seviyede mi tutacağız?
Kısacası demek istediğim; dinler arasında mantıken büyük farklar var. İnançsız biri de olsanız, her dinin aynı kategoride değerlendirilmeyeceğini, aynı seviyede olmadığını kabul etmek lazım.
Sonuç olarak;
- Varlık ve yokluk arasındaki fark ile varlıklar arasındaki fark kıyaslamak pek makul değil
- Dinlerin hepsi mantıki açıdan aynı derecede değildir
- Önemli olan kaç tane fikrin reddedildiği değil, hangisinin daha sağlam, daha akılcı bir temele dayandığıdır.
