PEYGAMBER DÖNEMİNDE HADİS YAZIMI

Hadis inkarcıları her ne kadar hadislerin peygamberden 200-300 yıl sonra yazıldığını söylese de bu bilgi baştan sona hatalı. Zira hadislerin yazıya geçirilme tarihine baktığımızda ilk kez peygamberimiz döneminde yazıldığına çok rahatça ulaşabilirsiniz. Hadis inkarcılarının verdikleri tarihler ise Buhari, müslim, Tirmizi vb hadis alimlerinin yaşadığı ve hadisleri toplayıp kitap haline getirdiği tarih. Oysa bunlardan önce yaşamış imam Hanife, imam Şafii gibi fıkıh âlimleri veya peygamber döneminde de Ebu hureyre, Abdullah bin Amr gibi sahabiler zaten yazıya geçiriyorlardı hatta hadis kitapları, sahifeleri vardı. Örneğin tabiin döneminde hadis kitapları; İmam Mâlik’in muvatta eseri, İbn Ebi Şeybe’nin Musannaf eseri, Abdurrezzak es Sunani’nin Musannaf eseri, Ahmed bin Hanbel’in müsned eseri. Yine örneğin bazı sahabelerin sahife(suhuf) denilen hadisleri topladığı kitapçıkları vardı.Hadis sahifesi olduğu belirtilen bazı sahâbîler şunlardır;(1)

  • Semüre b. Cündeb (58-9/677)
  • Ebû Hüreyre (59/678)
  • Abdullah b. Amr b. el-Âs (63/682)

  • Câbir b. Abdullah (78/697)

Bunlar birkaç sayfalık sahifeler değildi ki örneğin Abdullah b.Amr’ın es-sahufetüş Sadıka isimli sahifesinde 1000 hadis, Hemmam’ın, Sahufetü Hemmâm isimli sahifesinde ise 138 hadis bulunurdu. Nitekim hammam’ın bu sahifesi günümüze de ulaşmış hatta Muhammed Hamidullah tarafından Şam ve Berlin nüshaları karşılaştırılmıştır.(2) Anlayacağınız Buhari, müslim gibi hadis alimlerine gelene kadar birçok hadis kitabı veya sahifesi zaten vardı. Ve Peygamberden Buhari, müslim gibi isimlere kadar hadis ilmi kopukluk yaşamadan devam etmiştir. Peygamber döneminde hadislerin yazıldığına birkaç örnek verelim;

Abdullah b. Amr anlatıyor:

“Ey Allah’ın Rasulü hadisi kaydedeyim mi?” dedim, “Evet” buyurdular. “Bunun kaydı, nedir?” diye sorduğumda “Yazıdır” diye cevap verdi(3)

Rafi b. Hadic Peygamberimizden yazmak için izin istediğini şöyle anlatıyor:

“ Biz Rasulullah’a: “Ey Allah’ın Rasulü! Senden çok şey duyuyoruz, onları yazalım mı? dedik. Hz. Peygamber de “Yazınız, bunda bir mahzur yoktur.” cevabını vermiştir. (4)

Peygamber dönemindeki Arap toplumunda yazılı edebiyattan çok sözlü edebiyat yaygındı. Sahabelerden hafızası kuvvetli olanlarda da özellikle Kur’an’ı ve hadisleri ezberlemekle görevlendirilse de peygamberimizin katiplerine baktığımızda bunlardan bazılarının İslam’dan önce bile okuma-yazma bildiklerini yazdıklarını görüyoruz.

Bütün bunlardan, Arapların okuma ve yazmaya tamamen yabancı olmadığı sonucu çıkarabiliriz. İslam’dan önce kadınlardan okuma yazma bilenler var mı diye baktığımızda da bir çok kadının ismine rastlamaktayız. Belazuri bazı kadınların Peygamberimize katiplik dahi yaptıklarını söyler. Bunlar arasında, Hafsa, Ümmü Gülsüm, Şifa binti Abdullah, Ayşe binti Sa’d, Ümmü Selma, Fatıma binti Hattab, Hatice, Kerime binti Mikdad gibi isimler vardır. Bu kadınların çoğu İslam’dan önce de yazmayı biliyorlardı.

Hz. Peygamber (sav) vahyin gelmeye başladığı ilk zamanlardan beri okuma ve yazmaya büyük bir ilgi göstermiş ve bunu hayatın vazgeçilmez bir parçası haline getirmiştir. Esirleri on kişiye okuma yazma öğretme karşılığında serbest bırakması, okullar açması, buralara öğretmen tayin etmesi, kendisine gelen vahyi büyük bir titizlikle yazdırmak için katipler görevlendirmesi örnek verilebilir(5) Tabi okul derken günümüz özel kolejleri veya yüksek binalar aklınıza gelmesin. Okul görevi gören mescitler ve evler vardi.

Örneğin Erkam b. Ebü’l-Erkam el-Mahzûmî’nin evi olan “darül Erkam” buna örnek olarak verilebilir. (6) Mekke’de dini eğitimin verildiği ve Müslümanlara, okuma ve yazmanın öğretildiği yegane merkez Daru’l-Erkamdı. (7) Medine’de ise ilmin okutulduğu ve okulların kaynağı sayılan ve Daru’l-Kura olarak da bilinen Muharrem b. Nevfel’in evi vardı.(8) Medine’de bu Daru’l-Kura’ya ilaveten geceleri medrese olarak hizmet veren dokuz tane mescit vardı.(9) Bu okulların özellikleri hakkında fazla bilgi olmamakla birlikte, Hz. Peygamber(sav)’in buralara muallim olarak tayin ettiği kişiler hakkında bilgi bulabiliyoruz.(10) Öğretmen sahabilerin en meşhurları Bi’ri Maune şehitleridir. Hz.Peygamber tarafından öğretmen olarak gönderilen ve sayıları yetmiş kadar olan bu sahabiler, öğretmenlik için gittiklerinden silahsızdılar ve pusuya düşürülerek hunharca şehit edildiler (11) Öğretmen sahabilerin kimisi Necid’e, kimisi Necran’a, kimisi de Yemen’e gönderilmişti.

Peygamberimiz (sav) arkadaşlarını ve ashabını sadece Arap yazısını değil, aynı zamanda başka dilleri öğrenmeleri için de teşvik ediyordu. Örneğin Peygamberimiz Zeyd b. Sabit’ten Arap dilinin yanında Suryaniceyi de öğrenmesini istemiştir. Zeyd b. Sabit bu olayı şöyle anlatıyor;

“Resûlullah(sav) bana emretti, ben de onun için, Süryanice (yahudi) yazısını öğrendim. Şöyle demişti: “Allah’a yemin olsun, ben yazı işimde yahudiye emniyet edemiyorum!” (Zeyd) der ki: “Allah’a yemin olsun bir ayın yarısı geçmeden, o yazıyı öğrendim ve hazakat kazandım. Resûlullah’ın onlara olan mektuplarını yazıyor, onların gönderdiklerini de ona okuyordum.”(12)

Açıkçası elimizde bu kadar tarihi gerçek varken peygamber döneminde hadis yazılmıyordu yalanına inanmak akıl dışıdır. Muhammed Hamidullah bu konuda şöyle der;

Hz. Peygamber(sav)’in hayatı boyunca hiçbir şeyin yazılmamış olduğu hususunda ileri sürülecek herhangi bir ifâdenin, mânâsızlık hudutlarına varan bir şüphe olduğu muhakkaktır.(13)

Kısacası peygamberin yazı, kayıt ve ilim işlerine büyük bir önem verdiğini biliyoruz. Aynı şekilde kaynaklarda peygamberin sahabeyi hadisleri yazmaya da teşvik ettiğini görüyoruz. Birkaç örnek daha vermek gerekirse;

Ebu Hureyre’den rivayet edilen bir habere göre; ismini açıklamayan bir şahıs, Hz. Peygamber’e ezberleme kabiliyetinin azlığından şikayet etmiş, Peygamberimiz de ona, “Elinden yardım iste” yani “Yaz.” demiştir. (14)

Abdullah b. Amr hadisleri yazdığına delil olan haberi şöyle anlatır:

“Rasulullah’tan duyduğum her şeyi yazıyordum. Amacım bunları ezberlemekti. Kureyşliler beni hadis yazma işinden men ettiler ve şöyle dediler: ‘Sen Rasulullah(sav)’den duyduğun her şeyi yazıyorsun. Halbuki O, bir beşerdir. Rıza halindeyken olduğu gibi, kızgınlık halindeyken de konuşabilir.’ Bunun üzerine yazma işini bıraktım. Sonra da Kureyşlilerin bu sözünü Hz. Peygambere anlattım. Rasulullah, bana parmağıyla ağzını işaret ederek ’Yaz, nefsim kudret elinde olan Allah’a yemin olsun ki, benden hakkın dışında bir şey sadır olmaz.”(15)

Enes b. Malik, Rasulullah’ın hizmetinde bulunmuş, gece gündüz on sene yanından ayrılmamış olan büyük sahabenin oğullarına tavsiyesi şöyleydi:

“Ey oğullarım hadisleri yazı ile kaydedin.” (16)

Aynı şekilde o da hadisleri kaydederdi. Etrafında bir çok insanın bulunduğu bir zaman da, kendisinin yapmış olduğu sahifeleri getirip, ortaya koyarak şöyle diyordu:

“Bu levhalarda bulunan hadisleri Rasulullah’tan işitip yazdım ve kendisine okudum.”(17)

Yine Ebu Hüreyre(ra) diyor ki:

“Resûlullah(sav) ashabı arasında İbnu Amr hariç, benden daha çok hadis bilen yoktu. (Onun beni geçmesi şuradan ileri geliyordu:) O hadisleri yazıyordu, ben ise yazmıyordum.” (18)

Burda küçük bir not düşelim; Ebu hureyre bildiğiniz gibi en çok hadis rivayet edenlerin başında gelir. Burda ben yazmıyordum demesi hadis bilmediği anlamına gelmez. Tam tersine diğer çoğu sahabi gibi hadisleri ezberlediğini söylemiş oluyor. Nitekim İmam Şâfii gibi büyük âlimlerin bildirdiğine göre, Ebû Hureyre kendi dönemindeki hadis nakledenlerin içinde hafızası en sağlam olanıdır. (19) (hadis ve ayet ezberleme tekniklerine ilerki bölümlerde detaylıca değineceğiz)

Bazı kişiler Ebu hureyre’nin çok fazla hadis rivayet ettiğini söylediğinde ise Ebu hureyre’nin cevabı şöyleydi;

“Hâlbuki Ensar kardeşlerimiz tarlalarında ziraatla, muhâcir kardeşlerimiz de pazarda ticaretle meşgul olurken, (bu kardeşiniz) karın tokluğuna Hz. Peygamber’e (s.a.s.) hizmet ediyor, onların görmediklerini görüyor, duymadıklarını duyuyordu.” (20)

Yine örneğin kaynaklar Cabir b. Abdullah’ın Mescidi Nebevi’de bir ders halkası kurduğunu ve burada öğrencilerine hadis öğrettiğini, bu alanda bir otorite olduğunu zikretmektedir. (21)

Semure b. Cündüp de hadis yazılmasını hoş karşılayan ve bizzat kendisi de hadis yazan sahabilerdendi. Kendisi içinde hadislerin bulunduğu bir risale yazarak çocuklarına bıraktığı rivayet edilmiştir.(22)

Yine örneğin Mekke’nin fethi sıralarında Hz.Peygamber, müslümanları toplamış ve onlara bir hutbe irad etmiştir. Hutbeyi dinleyenler arasında bulunan Ebû Şah isminde Yemenli bir şahıs, hutbenin kendisi için yazılmasını istemiş Hz.Peygamber de orada bulunanlardan birisine “hutbeyi, Ebû Şah için yazınız” demiştir.(23)

Kısacası hadislerin henüz peygamber yaşarken de bazı katip sahabeler tarafından yazıya geçirildiği bariz bir gerçek. Öyle ki, Hz. Peygamber döneminde bu yazılan hadislerin sayısının Hamidullah’ın ifadesine göre yirmi bini geçtiği söylenir. (24) A’zami bu konuyla ilgili “Sahabenin yazdıkları ve onlardan yazılanlar” başlığı altında yaklaşık 52 sahabeyi, “Hicri birinci asırdan sonrakilerin yazdıkları ve onlardan yazanlar” başlığı altında da yaklaşık 86 kişiyi, “Hicri ikinci asrın başındaki hadis ulemasının yazdıkları ve onlardan yazılanlar” başlığı altında 256 kişiyi zikretmektedir. (25) Peygamber hadis yazılmasına teşvik ettiği gibi sonraki nesillere aktarılması için de teşvik etmiştir. İbnu Mes’ud(ra) anlatıyor,

“Resûlullah(sav) buyurdular ki: “Benden bir şey işitip onu (artırıp eksiltmeden) işittiği şekilde başkasına ulaştıran kimsenin (Kıyamet günü) Allah yüzünü taze kılsın. Zira, kendisine ulaştırılan öyleleri var ki, bizzat işitenden daha iyi kavrar.”(26)

Yine İbn Abbâs’den rivayet edilen bir diğer hadiste peygamber şöyle buyurmuştur;

“Sizler benden (sözlerimi) işitiyorsunuz. Sizden de başkaları işitecek. Onlardan da başkaları işitecektir.”(27) Yine örneğin Veda Hutbesi’nde konuşmasını tamamlarken, “Burada hazır bulunanlar, burada bulunmayanlara tebliğ etsin. Belki burada bulunan kimse, burada olmadığı hâlde bunu daha iyi anlayacak bir kimseye tebliğ etmiş olur.” buyurmuştur. (28)

Bunun yanında hadis inkarcıları peygamberin hayatı boyunca yaptığı 500 cuma hutbesinin yazılı olmadığı iddiasında bulunurlar. Oysa bu hutbeler kayıp değildir; hadis, siyer, tarih, ve Kur’an’ın icazından bahseden farklı kitaplarda dağınık bir şekilde geçer. Günümüzde ise Tunuslu iki alim bunları iki ayrı eserde toplamışlardır. Bunlar Şeyh Muhammed Halil El-Hatip’in kaleme aldığı “ithaful Enam bı hutebi Rasuli’l İslam” ve Dr.Ömer El Kayıtı Et-Tunusi’nin “hatebu’r rasul” eserleri.(29)

Bunun yanında örneğin peygamberin diğer ülkelerin krallarına yazdığı davet mektupları da Kur’an dışı yazılı kaynaklara delil olarak verilebilir. Örneğin Sâsânî Hükümdarı (Kisrâ) II. Hüsrev Pervîz’e, Bizans imparatoru Herakleios’a, Habeş Necâşîsi Ashame’ye, Bizans’ın Mısır genel valisi Mukavkıs’a, Gassânî krallarından Hâris b. Ebû Şemir’e, Benî Hanîfe kabilesinin reisi olup şair ve hatipliğiyle de tanınan Hevze b. Ali’ye gönderilen mektupları zikredebiliriz. Örneğin Bizans İmparatoruna gönderilen mektupta şöyle deniliyordu;

“Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Allah’ın kulu ve Resuûlü Muhammed’in Rumların büyüğü Hirakl’e. Hidayet yoluna uyanlara selâm olsun. Bundan sonra, ben seni İslâma davet ediyorum. Müslüman ol ki selâmete eresin. Allah da sana ecrini iki kat verir. Eğer kabul etmezsen halkının vebali senin boyundadır. Ey Ehl-i Kitap! Bizimle sizin aranızda müşterek bir kelimeye gelin: Ancak Allah’a kulluk edelim. O’na hiçbir şeyi ortak yapmayalım. Allah’ı bırakıp bir kısmınız diğer kısmınızı rab edinmesin. Eğer yüz çevirirlerse, şahit olun, biz müslümanız deyin.”

Sonuç olarak; gerek hutbeler gerek davet mektupları gerek hadis yazımına dair teşvikler olsun peygamber döneminde hadislerin her ne kadar daha çok ezber metodu aktarıldığını bilsek de yazıldığı da itiraz edilemeyecek bir gerçektir.
